User agent tool
User agent tool - this is application or script for user agent lookup. There are three types of tool that contant or not contain some functionality.
1 - User agent tool that showing user agent string
2 - Showing browser name, version and other browser information.
3 - Showing settings and software that setuped in Operation System, and OS name.
User agent http
Why
http? http user agent called application, software that using http protocol for requestion or sending data. Examples FireFox, Internet Explorer.
When Internet users visit a web site, a text string is generally sent to identify the user agent to the server.
This forms part of the HTTP request, prefixed with User-Agent: (case does not matter) and typically includes information such as the application name,
version, host operating system, and language. Bots, such as web crawlers, often also include a URL and/or e-mail address so that the webmaster can contact the operator of the bot.
User agent of browser
All famous browsers have fixed user agent, it's called user agent of browser.
Examples:
Internet Explorer 6.0 - Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1); Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98).
